GLASS

Glass fusing is a very old art form whose beauty results from light interacting with glass in various colors, shapes, and degrees of transparency. The process of creating fused glass art involves cutting and arranging pieces of glass on a flat surface, then using a kiln to heat the glass pieces to high temperatures. The pieces of glass melt together and fuse into a single, cohesive piece, which can then be molded into a new shape that shows off the vibrant colors and engaging designs in the glass. The result of glass fusing is eye-catching art that plays and dances in light.
